Back in his homeland of New Zealand Kiwi Engineering boss, Greg Hunt, played with jet boats on the rivers around his home. Naturally, when he set up shop here in Connecticut, he wanted a jet boat of his own to play in the Connecticut River, Long Island Sound, and the area tributaries. After trying the normally aspirated engine which he was marketing in a marine division of the company, he thought that it was not up to the standards of the big block chevies that he was used to "back home". He decided to add a supercharger to the Subaru to wake it up and keep the engine package small. This is the result.
