Every project is different, and every owner has a dream and/or a function for the engine project assigned to us. This engine was rebuilt for a Mercedes restoration house for showing (and ultimate class victory) at the prestigious Pebble Beach car show. This was a multiyear project which incorporated a custom crank, rods, pistons, and valves. The crank, shown below, was an entirely new design which incorporated a new crank seal design, insert bearings, and modern connecting rods.
